POLICY THINK TANK

 The Lokoja Dialogues think tank will serve as a platform for multi-stakeholder deliberative processes on the regulation of water access and distribution. The LD think tank will increase the quality of conversation on Nigeria’s water challenges, by building salience among the public and facilitating dialogue with the right stakeholders, to arrive at actionable solutions that improve the livelihoods and guarantee a sustainable national future. As a trusted convener of multi-sector dialogue, our sessions will bring together decision-makers, technical experts and funders to review evidence, co-create solutions and secure commitments. The agenda for these sessions will be community-defined priorities gathered through bottom-up intelligence gathering through the “Listening Project”. As part of our policy advocacy, the intelligence generated will be used to inform evidence-based case-studies that position community-defined water challenges and innovations within national development, economic growth and climate resilience agendas.
